Eagles Field Hockey Camp Summer 2020
Monday-Thursday July 27-30th 5:30pm - 7:30 pm at MAMS field
Grades 2-8: $65.00
Eagles Camp will focus on fundamentals, skill development and a deeper understanding of the sport. We welcome beginners as well as those with experience. Each player will be assigned to skill groups according to age, ability and friend/peer group. Each camper will be challenged through structured practices that focus on the core elements of field hockey. FUN is always the priority.
We provide a welcoming team culture with enthusiastic instructors: Mt. Ararat High School Coach, Krista Chase, her assistants, players, alumni and youth coaches. Coaches are upbeat, encouraging and focused on a positive experience for each player.
Middle School players: in addition to fundamentals, we will focus on the development of specialty plays (offensive and defensive penalty corners, penalty strokes, overtime situations) as well as an introduction to high-school level strategies and philosophies.
Registration includes a new Mt. Ararat field hockey reversible pinnie which they should bring to camp each night.
Coach Chase has plenty of sticks for beginning players to borrow. Please bring shin guards (any type), a mouth guard and water/water bottle.
Baby Eagles Field Hockey Camp
Summer 2020
Monday July 27-30th 4:00-5:00 pm at MAMS field
Pre-K-1st grade $50
Baby Eagles Camp is designed for our youngest student-athletes as an introduction to field hockey. Players will learn basic skills and rules that will enable them to run through a variety of developmentally-geared drills and games. We have a small instructor: camper ratio for this age group. We will focus on movement, cooperative play and fitness as we challenge them with learning the basic concepts of the sport. The focus is always on fun, comradery and growth!
