Mt. Ararat Field Hockey is excited to once again offer Friday Night Fall Field Hockey for students that live in the MSAD 75 District. This program is run by Coach Krista Chase and the Mt. Ararat High School team along with our youth coach volunteers. We practice at
the Mt. Ararat Middle School field hockey field on Fridays 5:15-6:30 with the opportunity for an additional practice at coaches discretion. This program is open to Mt. Ararat students in grades PK- 8 and will run September
12th through
late -October. Full schedule will be released in
late August/earlySeptember
.
**Please note although late registrations may be accepted, a Deadline of August 15th is in place for Tee Shirts and Travel Pinneys. Please be registered by then so your child doesn't have to wait!!
We will divide students into assigned teams with a specific coach based on the following age/skill groups:
Baby Eagles: PK-2
Travel Team grades 3&4
Travel Team grades 5&6
7th/8th division
**Please note that the 7/8 grade division is intended for students who
will be playing for the Mt. Ararat Middle School team. We are offering this as an additional opportunity to play that is not meant to replace the many benefits of playing for a school team. (Please direct all questions on this to Krista Chase,

Travel Teams will play in tournaments and games across the state. Baby Eagles and 7/8 division will have a limited game/tourney schedule. (* players who wish only to participate in Friday night practices are welcome to do so; please communicate this to Topsham REC and the assigned coach ASAP)
Fee includes a shirt for all players. Additionally, grades 3-8 will receive a pinnie as a uniform top for games/tournaments. Fee also includes most tournament fees with a few add-on opportunities that will be communicated at the beginning of the season.
Players will need shinguards, a mouthguard, a stick (Coach Chase has plenty to lend to beginning players) and sneakers/cleats.
