This fall we will be offering 2 Mountain Biking Sessions -
Youth Mountain Biking is open to Children Ages 8-14 from SAD 75, we will break the group into Beginner and Advanced based on their skills.
It will run on Monday evenings, starting September 12th, sessions begin at 5:00 pm and go till 6:15 pm and will run for 5 weeks, cost is $45.
Six Rivers NEMBA member Ernie Phillips will direct this program.
Teen Mountain bike skills: Ages 13 - 18, open to Students from SAD 75 and Brunswick. Come have fun, and sharpen your mountain bike skills. We will have six weekly sessions where we will work on fundamental skills, bike games, pump track know how, and riding trails. Sessions start on Tuesday 9/13, 5:30 - 7:00.
Six River NEMBA members Charles Lopez will direct this program and will be assisted by Kris Haralson.
Program Details -
Meet at the left hand parking lot prior to Solid Waste Facility on Townsend Way,

- Bike Safety Education
- Riding Awareness & Vision
- Balance & Body Position
- Braking & Stopping
- Shifting & Cadence
- Terrain Awareness
- Introduction to Obstacles
- Program Shirt Provided
Staff is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about teaching all kids of all skill levels about Mountain Biking. They will help riders develop a positive attitude about themselves, other participants, and skill development and comfort on their bike on different trail conditions. Program will meet weekly at the Topsham Solid Waste Facility, on Townsend Way, park prior to entering the facility on the left.
You will need to provide your own Mountain Bike, helmet, and water bottle.
Masks will need to be worn on the course.
Limited to 15 participants.
We will not have bikes that we can provide for use at this time.
