The Ararat Youth Basketball League is in the process of transferring the governing board for the Ararat Travel Teams to the Eagles/Ararat Basketball Club. Please feel free to contact one of the High School Coaching Staff or your local Recreation Department Director with any further questions or comments.  We look forward to a successful and enjoyable season. Thank you for attending the tryouts.

There is a fee of $250.00 for players who are chosen for the team, made payable to AYBL or through a link provided by Topsham Parks and Recreation.
This fee includes Team Registration and Reversible Jerseys.

The 5th & 6th Grade travel season and the local recreation season takes place at the same time. In past  seasons, the travel teams try to have practice two nights a week and a game on the weekend (Sat and/or Sun afternoon). Each recreation department team will also schedule their own practices through out the week and games on Sat or Sun.

The Ararat Travel teams will  participate in the Maine Basketball League and the games will begin Mid November.   There is a League Playoff at the end of the regular season.

We encourage players on Travel Teams to also participate on their Town Recreational Teams.

*Individuals interested in Coaching should submit the Coaching Application (link below) prior to Try Outs.
